Applicant Se Hong Byun, sworn at the hearing, said he is the 100% owner and will manage the business. Byun told the board the facility will serve simple finger foods (wings, nachos, hot dogs) and that his son and daughter will work at the site and are scheduled for alcohol‑service training.
Board members asked about family staffing and certification. The board approved the transfer with a contingency that the applicant’s son and daughter successfully obtain the required alcohol‑service certificate before the transfer is finalized; the applicant waived his right to appeal at the hearing.
The board recorded the contingency and the applicant named his children for the file. The clerk will confirm certification before issuing the transferred license.
