In a staff report Chris Searcy told the council that when the roundabout project began the estimated sewer cost was about $60,000, but unforeseen soil conditions and administrative expenses increased the amount to “slightly under $88,000” that the city seeks to recapture from four parcels through a late‑comers reimbursement agreement. Searcy recommended approval and recording of a reimbursement document against the affected parcels.
Council moved, seconded and voted to adopt the resolution; the mayor announced the motion passed. No recorded roll‑call of individual votes was provided in the public remarks.
