Police chief asks council to extend Aberdeen interlocal services through year end; city attorney to review draft addendum

He said he has submitted a proposed addendum to the city attorney for review and expects Aberdeen to present the contract to its council at an upcoming meeting.
City Attorney Chris Coker told the council he would review the submitted draft and provide the required petition or process steps for related items; staff noted the April 30 deadline for action on the current agreement. Council members agreed to discuss the addendum with the public-safety committee and bring revised language back for formal action.
