Separately, a commissioner said citizens and community pages were circulating incomplete or misleading information about development and asked whether the city’s online permitting map could be made easier to find on the city website. The commissioner said they had difficulty locating the permitting portal and had bookmarked it for convenience.
Amy (staff) responded that the permitting map is available through a separate permitting portal and that staff is working to make the link more prominent; she said staff would look into ways to surface the map on the city site. No formal action was taken; staff said they would follow up on both the staffing timeline and website access.
