Separately, staff presented proposed changes to animal-license fees and the cemetery fee schedule. Staff said some impound-related fees will match costs charged by Aberdeen and noted a 67% increase for replacement tags, which staff attributed to higher supplier costs. Staff warned cemetery capacity is limited—“probably something less than 40” plots remaining—and asked the planning commission to review long-term space and policy options. City staff said the proposed fee adjustments will be formatted as resolutions at the next meeting.
