Marion County commissioners approve consent agenda, MWQAC appointments and ARPA agreement for Mill City

The Marion County Board of Commissioners approved a consent agenda and several actions by unanimous voice vote during its April 23, 2025 regular session.
The consent agenda included an amendment to the Retail Lockbox, Inc. contract adding $200,000 (new contract total $465,000) to support treasurer and tax services, and an amendment to a construction contract with Farline Bridge, Inc. adding $199,500 for change orders on the Rambler Drive SE: Little Pudding River Bridge project.
In a separate action, the board appointed Richard Walker and Lyle Schellenberg as at-large members, Brent Stevenson as the Agriculture Industry representative, and Angela Plowhead as the Soil and Water Conservation District representative to the Marion Water Quality Advisory Committee, with terms ending December 31, 2028. Stephanie Pulvers presented the nominations and the board approved them by voice vote.
Public Works staff presented an incoming funds intergovernmental agreement with the City of Mill City to receive $2,500,000 in federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for the North Santiam Canyon Sewer Project (Mill City wastewater treatment construction); the board approved that agreement by unanimous voice vote.
All motions on these agenda items passed by voice vote with no recorded dissents.
