The council also approved a $6,170 additional appropriation for other supplies in the Pretrial Diversion Fund (Prosecutor), moved by Councilwoman Holli Castetter and seconded by Councilman Joe Kellum. Both motions passed 7–0.
Council members then approved a series of transfers across funds. Notable transfers included $42,174 moved from Emergency Medical Services to Capital Outlays in the EMS budget (County Share of Riverboat Fund); $18,743 moved from a capital murder case line to Comprehensive Business Policy in the Commissioner budget; $9,000 reclassified from Mental Evaluations to Equipment in Superior Court; and smaller transfers such as $2,500 for postage in the Extension Office and $1,098.56 within the Statewide 911 Fund for telephone communications. Each transfer motion passed on a 7–0 vote.
County Auditor Sara Burdick requested and the council approved transfers of two small remaining balances — $0.06 from a Duke Energy grant fund and $16.86 from the Controlled Substance Excise Tax Fund — into the County General Fund. The council acknowledged receipt of the county clerk's November report and adjourned at 7:33 p.m.
