At its April 29 meeting, Clarks Summit Borough Council opened seven bids for the 2026 paving of Clark Avenue.
Bids announced by borough staff included First Key at $183,957; WAYCO at $184,233; M and J Excavating at $223,630; Pennsy Supply at $243,150; H & K Group at $289,397.53; and American Asphalt Paving at $328,290. Staff noted M and J submitted two formats of the same bid.
Council did not award the contract at the meeting; members said they would review the submissions and proceed with a recommendation and formal award at a subsequent meeting.
