MONTGOMERY — The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles convened Aug. 6, 2025, at 301 South Ripley Street and reviewed its daily docket under the authority of Alabama Code, Title 15, Chapter 22. The board denied parole in numerous cases and granted several paroles with conditions requiring reentry programming, monitoring and treatment; it also approved multiple pardons, including at least one full pardon restoring civil and political rights.
The meeting, called to order by Chair Hal Nash, included board members Darryl Littleton and Gabrelle Simmons and was recorded by board secretary Nicole Lewis. The board approved minutes from the Aug. 5 meeting by majority vote.
