The Ellis County Commissioners Court approved revisions to its rules of procedure and decorum on March 17, primarily to correct typographical errors and to update agenda-posting language to reflect a statutory change requiring agendas be posted three business days prior to meetings.
The court then introduced agenda item 3.5, a possible purchase of property at 1305 West Jefferson in Waxahachie, and entered executive session under Texas Government Code sec. 551.072 to deliberate the value and negotiation posture for the real property. The court entered executive session at 2:30 p.m. and, after returning to open session, took no action on item 3.5 at this time.
Commissioners Butler and Ponder moved and seconded the motion to adjourn after reconvening; the court dismissed and adjourned the meeting.
