Maury County board recognizes Jyoti Adanapudi as TDOE finance spotlight

The Maury County Board of Education paused its Jan. 20 work session to recognize Jyoti Adanapudi of the district's Office of Financial Management after she was named a Tennessee Department of Education local finance "employee spotlight."
Jake (Office of Financial Management) introduced Adanapudi, saying she prepares the financial statements on the board's agenda, reconciles cash and supports payroll and accounts payable functions. Adanapudi thanked central office staff, the superintendent and the school board for their support.
Board members applauded the recognition and noted that the spotlight acknowledges staff work that supports federal programs, reimbursements and reporting. The spotlight feature also was shared on the district's Facebook page.
The board then moved on to the evening's financial update and budget items.
