Commissioners authorize agreements to acquire parcels for FM 546 Myrick Lane Phase 1
Summary

Following a closed‑session recess under Chapter 551.072 (real estate), the Commissioner’s Court returned to open session and approved two motions authorizing staff to document agreements to acquire property interests for the FM 546 Myrick Lane Phase 1 project.
The first motion authorized documentation to acquire Parcels 37X and 8187A for the project in the amount recommended by staff. Commissioner Fletcher moved the motion and the County Judge seconded; the motion carried 3–0. The court then approved a second motion authorizing documentation to acquire Parcels 197, 197A and 197B for the same project, again moved by Commissioner Fletcher, seconded by the County Judge, and carried 3–0.
The court stated no action was taken in closed session and authorized staff to proceed with documentation of the acquisitions as recommended by county staff. No sale prices were read aloud in the open session record provided at the meeting.
