Archuleta County Fair Board elects 2026 officers, approves prior meeting minutes

The Archuleta County Fair Board elected its 2026 officers during its Jan. 14 meeting.
Bobby McMeens moved to elect the slate of officers proposed for the Nov. 2025–Oct. 2026 term; Danielle Thomas seconded the motion, and the board approved the slate by unanimous voice vote. The officers are Emily Martinez, president; Danielle Thomas, vice president; Jane Davison, treasurer; and Alexa Martinez, secretary.
The board also approved the minutes of its Oct. 15 and Nov. 12 meetings. Alexa Martinez moved to approve those minutes, Jane Davison seconded the motion, and the minutes were approved by voice vote.
Board members were reminded to track volunteer hours this year; those hours must be submitted to the county after the Fair. The board set its next meeting for Feb. 11, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the CSU Extension building. The Jan. 14 meeting adjourned at 7:27 p.m.
