The Milan Special School District Board of Education approved its meeting agenda and the consent agenda by voice vote during its regular session.
Chair called for approval of the agenda; Miss Biggs moved to approve and Mr. Carmichael seconded. The chair then called for a vote and members answered in the affirmative. Later the board approved the consent agenda after a motion by Mr. Crocker and a second from Miss Biggs.
The board also recognized Donna Counts, a high-school staff member, as employee of the month and invited students who attended a SCOPE program in Nashville to the front for photographs and brief remarks. The board presented small tokens of appreciation to students Davian Perkins, Harlan Smith, Tyler Will and Skye Youngblood.
There were no public comments during the meeting. The board announced its next regular meeting for Monday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m. at the Central Office and an end-of-year staff picnic on Thursday, May 21 at noon in the high school cafeteria. A motion to adjourn was moved, seconded and approved by voice.
