Special Education Supervisor Cory Garrett requested the contract. Board Attorney Howard Upchurch advised that the contract should specify adequate insurance and include a hold‑harmless agreement; the board approved the contract on a unanimous vote (motion by Steve Perry, second by Jacob Frady).
The contract authorization allows district administrators to finalize terms that meet the attorney’s recommendations and to execute the contract so services can begin under the conditions specified by the agreement.
