The Athens City Board of Education approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital Association (ETCHA) to provide telehealth services to students at its Oct. 13, 2025 meeting in Athens, Tennessee.
Director of Schools Joe Barnett told the board the MOU was ready for approval and noted McMinn County had approved the agreement two weeks earlier. Board member Abby Carroll moved to approve the MOU; Johnny Coffman seconded and the motion carried. A copy of the MOU was filed in the minutes book.
