Vernon County says NextGen911 is live, outlines 2026 IT priorities

Information Technology Director Conner Simon updated the General Government Committee on IT operations and upcoming projects at the Dec. 3 meeting.
Simon reported that the county is live with NextGen911. He outlined planned 2026 work including a core infrastructure project, annual equipment replacement and work on an End Point Solution grant. Simon also said IT will begin work on a case management system intended for use by the Health Department and the Department of Human Services.
No formal votes were taken on IT projects during the meeting; the committee received the report and asked for standard follow-up and scheduling as projects proceed.
