Mount Orab council appoints new member, approves hires and votes to stream meetings and update website

The council authorized advertising for bids on street resurfacing projects covering a set of streets listed at the meeting and discussed funding and scope. Members moved to livestream all council meetings in 2026 to improve transparency and to upgrade the village website with a calendar, 12 months of minutes and council email addresses by April 1, 2026; those measures received verbal support on the floor. A motion to create and maintain an official village Facebook page for emergency communications and events also advanced.
