Alabama parole board voids prior delinquency declaration after ADOC reports erroneous release

The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles voted on Oct. 30, 2025 to void a prior declaration of delinquency signed Jan. 14, 2025 and to rescind a Board action dated Oct. 22, 2025 after the Alabama Department of Corrections informed the Board that William Travis Glass (AIS# 334344) had been released from custody in error.
The Board’s minute entry and board order state that ADOC reported the erroneous release and that, in light of the new information, the Board resolved to void the earlier delinquency declaration and subsequent action. The order notes that Mr. Glass will continue in ADOC custody following the Board’s vote. The Board recorded the action as part of its open meeting proceedings under Alabama Code, Title 15, Chapter 22.
Hal Nash, chair, and board members Darryl Littleton and Gabrelle Simmons are listed on the minute entry as approving the resolution. Nicole Lewis, board secretary, recorded the Board’s action and the attached Board Order included with the minutes documents the voiding of the prior actions.
The Board took the vote during its Oct. 30 meeting in Montgomery and adjourned later the same day. The Board’s next meeting is scheduled for Nov. 4, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. at 301 South Ripley Street, Montgomery.
