Commissioners also reviewed the renewal questionnaire for county property insurance, noting that property rates have risen in recent years and that removing some coverage items could reduce premiums. The chair moved to approve submission of the renewal questionnaire; the motion passed on a voice vote (motion carries).
Staff said insurers will review the submitted questionnaire and return pricing. The court did not provide a specific revised premium at the meeting and directed staff to proceed with the submission and to report back when insurer responses arrive.
After approving the questionnaire and confirming the utilities decision, the court moved on to other agenda items.
