Culver said the department responded to roughly 15,000 calls for service in 2025 and generated 1,508 case reports. The department recorded 445 arrests in 2025 and noted reductions in property crimes including burglary and theft-from-vehicles, as well as decreases in aggravated assaults and robberies compared with prior years. DUI arrests declined from 110 to 65 year-over-year, which the chief attributed in part to targeted enforcement.
Traffic collisions remained largely unchanged but the agency investigated one fatal motorcycle collision during the year. The department processed roughly 1,300 new items into property and evidence and managed a larger inventory in storage. Culver also highlighted community events and programs such as Coffee with a Cop, the police-hosted Santa Copp program and the department's participation in countywide mutual-assist responses.
Council members praised the report and asked for year-over-year comparisons in future reports; the council formally received and filed the report.
