For the civilian seat, the board nominated Bert Osteen (the incumbent) and applicant Josh Branscomb; by voice, the board selected Bert Osteen.
Later in the meeting, a motion was made and seconded to consult with the county attorney to preserve attorney-client privilege, citing the statutory authority in general statute 143-318.11. The motion passed on a voice vote.
The meeting concluded after the board moved into the legal consultation direction and then adjourned by voice vote.
