The group also discussed a longer-term idea for an accessibility mapping exercise (community members photographing and noting inaccessible locations) to inform future calls to action and infrastructure priorities, such as improving sidewalks, installing EV charging and accessible digital kiosks, and prioritizing emergency-preparedness infrastructure. Staff said consultants are preparing social-media and website resources for the Vision 2050 effort and that committee input on accessibility and youth engagement would be welcome.
