Finance Manager Bobbi Johnson reported that the first purchasing policy working session generated substantial feedback and that three more sessions are scheduled to solicit department and supervisor input. She also presented a draft capital improvement policy and said LCWD Director Ben Wojahn offered detailed feedback.
Bobbi said she is drafting an RFP for an Enterprise Resource Program (ERP); multiple vendors have asked when the RFP will be released. She described a possible HRIS/payroll solution—partly funded through Ho-Chunk allocations—that can provide Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) reporting for Vernon Manor and integrate with ERP systems. Departments have been asked to provide feedback before she finalizes the RFP.
Committee members raised questions about reporting ease and system requirements; staff said a modern system would make reporting faster and provide needed interfaces for departments.
