The Personnel Administration and Legislation Committee voted to advance a support position to the full Board of Supervisors for a state budget request from the California Court Appointed Special Advocates Association to provide support services for foster youth.
Chair read Alameda County Health’s request and said she was supportive of the recommendation. "So we will advance that through the full board with a support position recommendation," the Chair stated. Supervisor Fortinado Bass indicated support as well.
There were no public comments on the item. Staff will forward the committee recommendation to the full board for consideration.
