The Human Services Committee read a lengthy consent calendar and moved more than two dozen bills forward without protracted debate. Items placed on the consent calendar included bills covering Medicaid pharmacy audits, expansions of Medicaid eligibility, peer-support services, transportation and long-term care policy, a diaper partnership grant program, various Medicaid rate increases, and measures addressing fraud and step-therapy for prescription drugs.
The clerk read the consent calendar list and the committee conducted a roll call on the package; the chair said all votes would be held open until 5:30 p.m. for any members who needed to record late ballots.

Many of the bills received either no objection and were added to consent or were briefly discussed before inclusion.
What happens next: The consent calendar package will be voted on in the floor session; some votes were recorded at committee and held open until the prescribed time to allow late votes.
