The Brimfield Board of Trustees approved a contract to consolidate the township’s cleaning services with Clean Management LLC at a not‑to‑exceed $35,500 per year.
Officials reported the township had been paying about $43,619 annually across two separate vendors for cleaning police, road, administration and community center spaces. The consolidated proposal from Clean Management (owners Marilyn and Tom) would provide full coverage for township facilities and is expected to save the township roughly $8,500 annually compared with current arrangements.
The contract was presented as a 12‑month agreement with a 60‑day termination provision after the initial period. Trustees moved and approved the transition by roll call. Trustees asked staff to implement the transition and noted the effective date would be near May 1, subject to the 30‑ to 60‑day notice to the other vendor.
Trustees said the savings should be monitored and that the board retains the option to return to other providers if service or costs warrant it.
