Selectmen approve SIP trunk conversion, VoIP maintenance renewal and website accessibility audit

Second, Vargas presented a one‑year maintenance renewal with Total Communications for the town’s Cisco VoIP system; she said the renewal includes a nominal 3% increase and the town is evaluating whether longer terms would offer savings but prefers one‑year renewals in the near term because of budget planning.
Third, the board approved an amendment to the town’s Encode Plus agreement to add a WCAG 2.1 AA audit, remediation and annual accessibility updates for the town’s zoning materials and website content to meet ADA obligations.
Each item drew brief board discussion and passed on voice votes.
