Easton School Committee elects Jackie Wiseman chair, names Kelly Persio vice chair

The Easton School Committee completed its post-election reorganization at its April 30 meeting, electing Jackie Wiseman as chair and Kelly Persio as vice chair.
"I nominate Jackie," one member said during the nomination process; the motion received a second and the committee approved the nomination by voice vote. Later in the meeting the committee moved and approved Persio for vice chair.
The new chair outlined that meetings will continue in a hybrid format and reviewed public-comment procedures, saying members of the public who wish to speak will be invited to the podium, should state their name and address for the record, and will be limited to three minutes with a 15-minute total public-comment window. Committee members emphasized that the public-comment period is not a time for debate and encouraged written follow-ups via email.
The reorganization was the first substantive agenda item of the evening; the committee then moved on to minutes approvals and other business.
