Board praises director after 4.42/5 evaluation; contract to be discussed next meeting

Mrs. Donna McDaniel‑Cox also expressed appreciation. The board directed that the director's contract appear on a future agenda.
In her director's report, Dr. Lisa Norris said she and the board had spoken with Jerry Hartsfield of TLM about a potential preschool/evacuation building and possible playground relocation. She also reported a likely leak around a water pump that is losing about 200 gallons per week and raising the school's water bill. Finally, the director noted the State of Tennessee has set the TISA base at $7,530 per student for the coming year.
The board did not take immediate action beyond recording the evaluation and scheduling the contract item for a future meeting.
