Fox Board approves consent agenda, declares older textbooks surplus and creates Class of 2030 account

Clerk Stacie Fletcher moved to approve consent items 3–6 and 9–11; Carolyn McConnell seconded and the motion carried with Stacie Fletcher, Carolyn McConnell and Vice‑President Otto Young recorded as voting aye. President E. (Joey) Rodriguez and member Twanna Owens were recorded as absent.
Among the approvals, the board moved the June meeting from June 20 to June 26, 2025; approved James Leighton as a substitute teacher; and set district transfer capacities at 25 students per grade level at each site. The board also approved declaring as surplus Glencoe Health textbooks (Year: 2003; Student edition ISBN: 0-07-8238964-1, 24 student editions; Teacher edition ISBN: 0-07-823865-X, 2 teacher editions) and FACS Basics CIMC textbooks (Year: 2016; 13 student editions).
The board approved creation of activity account #930, labeled "Class of 2030," and approved the OSSBA policy EMBD - FLAGS. The minutes record that agenda item #7 was omitted and item #8 was tabled; no action was taken on items 15–17.
Additionally, the board voted to file the activity fund financial report and the district financial report for audit and to approve purchase orders and payments across funds to be filed for audit. The motions on financial reports and purchase orders were made by Stacie Fletcher, seconded by Carolyn McConnell, and carried with the same 3–0 recorded vote.
The meeting, held at the superintendent's office for Fox School District I‑74 in Carter County, adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
