Council approves garage license for Montello 14 Group LLC at 1114 Montello Street

The Brockton City Council approved a garage license for 1114 Montello Street, clearing the way for Montello 14 Group LLC to operate auto services at that location.
Attorney Jake Creighton appeared for the applicant and introduced owner Paul (Paulo) de Oliveira, saying the new ownership will continue the property’s prior automotive operations and that appropriate inspections would be completed before motor-vehicle repair and body-shop licenses are transferred. “He’s gonna do the same operation that David had, parking spaces,” Creighton said, and noted the owner operates an exclusive contract for some fleet service work.
Councilor Nicastro, speaking for members, said the property is in Ward 4, described his conversations with the applicant, and expressed support for issuing the garage license with the understanding of required inspections. The council voted by hand/voice and approved the license; the transcript records the applicant thanked the council and left the chamber.
The approval allows Montello 14 Group LLC to pursue subsequent permits for vehicle repair and body work after inspections and the required licensing steps are completed.
