Pearl River County approves MDA site-development grant and $152,808.45 payment for PRC Tech Park

The Pearl River County Board of Supervisors on March 2 executed a grant agreement with the Mississippi Development Authority for a Site Development Grant supporting the Pearl River County Technology Park. District 1 Supervisor Donald Hart moved the grant agreement; District 4 Supervisor Jason Spence seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The Board also approved pay application No. 6 to Clymer Contracting in the amount of $152,808.45 for work on the PRC Tech Park Spec Buildings A & B. That payment was moved by Supervisor Jason Spence and seconded by Supervisor Bryce Lott; the vote was unanimous.
In related business, the Board acknowledged and executed the final reimbursement request for SDG‑S‑012 for the Pearl River County Industrial Park and accepted transfer of ownership and title for a 2021 Dodge Durango (VIN: 1C4RDHAGBMC540643) from the Pearl River County Economic Development District.
Motions for the grant agreement, pay application, reimbursement request and title transfer were each recorded with mover, seconder and unanimous votes in the official minutes. No conditions, contingencies or dissent were recorded during the discussion of these items.
The approvals enable continued site development work at the technology and industrial parks and complete a vehicle transfer to the county fleet.
