Potter County Commissioners on Jan. 9, 2025 unanimously acknowledged several personnel actions affecting multiple county departments.
The board recorded a resignation by Kristie Potter from her Prothonotary/Civil Deputy position effective Jan. 3, 2025, and separately acknowledged that Ashley Gledhill hired Potter to fill a full-time Prothonotary/Clerk of Courts/Orphan's Court Deputy I role effective Jan. 6, 2025. The minutes list both items as acknowledged by motions that passed with Commissioners Rossman, Heimel and Grupp voting yes.
The commission also acknowledged the resignation of Shirley Raber, Divorce Administrative Assistant, effective Jan. 2, 2025, and the hiring of Raber into the full-time Divorce Deputy II position effective Jan. 2, 2025, recorded as approved by the board.
Under personnel items presented during the meeting, President Judge Minor hired Bella Butler as a Domestic Relations Case Manager I, effective Jan. 13, 2025; the board moved to acknowledge that hire and recorded a unanimous vote. The commission accepted the resignation of Sarah Wright as Assistant Domestic Relations Director effective Jan. 10, 2025. At the request of Thomas Patterson, the board approved hiring Shaileen Tucker as a Children and Youth County Caseworker I effective Jan. 21, 2025.
All personnel acknowledgements and hires were approved by motions and recorded as unanimous (Rossman yes; Heimel yes; Grupp yes). The minutes do not contain verbatim quotes from the individuals; each item is recorded as an agenda motion or acknowledgment.
