The Board of Fayette County Commissioners at its Nov. 17 meeting approved routine vendor payments, budget transfers, advances and travel reimbursements.
Commissioner James D. Garland moved and Commissioner Donald L. Fleak seconded approval of payments on a long list of invoices covering county departments and projects; the roll call vote was unanimous. The documented bills include grant disbursements and vendor contracts such as College of Food, Agriculture & Environmental grant entries ($91,980.00 and $6,070.00), a $110,646.59 contract services entry to National EC Services, Inc., and a $80,000 entry for Pickaway Area Recovery (OneOhio Opioid), among many smaller items recorded in the minutes.
The board approved appropriation modifications (including a $142,843.58 transfer within MVGT budget lines), advances (notably $54,595.03 from the Rattlesnake Water System Improvement fund to the Commissioners' fund), and additional appropriations to various departmental line items. Travel and training requests were approved, including an application from Fayette County Auditor Brenda Mossbarger to attend the County Auditor's Winter Conference (Nov. 18–21, 2025) with expenses authorized up to $390.00, and several Department of Job & Family Services travel and emergency reimbursements with specified limits.
All motions reported in the minutes were adopted by unanimous roll call. The minutes do not record extended debate on the financial items; they are recorded as routine approvals.
