The Fayette County commissioners approved two change orders for the Mid Atlantic Storage Systems contract on the Rattlesnake Water System Improvements (Contract B ' Headworks).
Change Order No. 5 adds $70,900.00 for equipment and subcontractor work including Vega level sensors and mounting hardware, level sensor installation by CT Electric for two sites, SCADA antenna installation, sump pumps and labor; the change raises the contract price from $8,883,946.57 to $8,954,846.57. The board approved the change order per County Engineer Jason Little's recommendation.
Change Order No. 6 adds $4,365.00 for engineering office hours and exit sign/emergency egress lighting, increasing the revised contract price to $8,959,211.57. Both change orders were recorded as approved on the commissioners' Nov. 24 meeting minutes; the motions carried on roll call.
The minutes state net increases, the revised contract totals and that time for completion was unchanged; they do not record any dissent, cost allocation across funds, or additional contingency adjustments in the meeting record.
