The Columbiana County Commissioners voted Dec. 30 to accept a Cybersecurity Policy for the County Auditor's Office and to adopt the Columbiana County Clerk of Courts cybersecurity policy as the Board's own; both policies were recorded as exempt from public records requests in the meeting minutes.
The board also authorized the County Auditor to sign a service agreement with Clark Schaffer Hackett for GAAP financials for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025 and later authorized County Auditor Milliken to sign a contract with RedHelm for managed security services for county systems. Both authorizations were adopted by recorded 2-0 votes (Commissioners Ginter and Paparodis voting aye).
The minutes record these actions as administrative authorizations; no additional discussion or public comment on the substance of the cybersecurity policies or contract terms appears in the meeting transcript.
