The Columbiana County Board of Commissioners unanimously appointed Frank Mader to a four-year term on the county Mental Health & Recovery Service Board, effective Oct. 28, 2025 and running through June 30, 2029.
Director Lori Colian recommended the appointment during the meeting Oct. 15, telling the commissioners that Mader is “very qualified and has a very firm business sense.” Commissioners Paparodis and Ginter moved and seconded the appointment, and the motion carried with Commissioner Halleck also voting aye.
The appointment was presented as a routine board matter; the transcript records no public opposition or debate. The board took the vote as a formal action during its regular session and completed the administrative appointment process.
