The Auglaize County Board of County Commissioners approved a slate of resolutions during its Jan. 13 meeting, covering personnel appointments, travel and expenditure authorizations, airport leases and governance appointments.
At 9:00 a.m., Commissioner David Bambauer moved to approve the resolutions as presented; Commissioner Douglas A. Spencer seconded. The minutes record that the resolutions were distributed for each commissioner’s vote and execution. The resolutions listed in the minutes are numbered #26-026 through #26-033 and include the following matters: authorization to employ Bobbi Donovan as Board Clerk (#26-026); authorization to pay expenditures for the Clerk of Courts and deputy clerks for 2026 meetings and conferences (#26-027); authorization for Municipal Court clerk and deputies to attend 2026 conferences (#26-028); authorization for Veterans Service Commission officers and staff to attend state/district/regional conventions and seminars in 2026 (#26-029); approval and ratification of hangar-space leases at Neil Armstrong Airport (#26-030); authorization to pay the county’s mandated share of public assistance for January 2026 (#26-031); an amendment to the county travel reimbursement policy effective Jan. 1, 2026 (#26-032); and reappointment of Michael Vorhees as Region 15 representative to One Ohio Recovery Foundation, Inc., plus affirmation of other county appointments (#26-033).
The minutes do not specify roll-call tallies for each individual resolution; they record only the initial motion to approve the packet and that the resolutions were distributed for signature. Several items—such as the clerk appointment (Bobbi Donovan) and the travel-policy amendment—have operational implications for county staffing and reimbursements. The minutes list the full text of each resolution in the Board’s Journal, as maintained by the Clerk of the Board.
With no further business, the Board adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
