WAPAKONETA, Ohio — At the Feb. 5 Auglaize County commissioners meeting, County Administrator Erica L. Preston updated the board on several administrative matters affecting county operations.
Preston said the county reissued W-2 forms after discovering an incorrect address on previously issued forms. She also reported that a sprinkler-head break caused elevator damage, increasing repair costs, and discussed filing an insurance claim related to that incident. Preston informed commissioners of a Public Records Request that is active in the Recorder’s Office and said the Board of Elections is preparing an office policy and procedure manual.
Preston additionally described the process for recording overtime connected to a new tax credit; the transcript does not include technical detail or dollar amounts for that change. No formal board action on these administrative matters is recorded in the meeting minutes provided; the items were presented for the board’s information and for staff follow-up.
