The Auglaize County Board of Commissioners met in regular session on March 24, 2026, and approved four resolutions and related administrative actions affecting community development and county insurance participation.
Commissioner David Bambauer moved to approve the resolutions as presented; Commissioner Douglas A. Spencer seconded and the resolutions were distributed for each commissioner’s vote and execution, the record shows. Clerk Bobbi Donovan presented the resolutions for the Board’s journal.
Resolution #26-115 authorizes the President of the Board to certify the Public Notice for a Notice of Intent to Request a Release of Funds in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Development PY2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Allocation Program. The Board also authorized the County Administrator to submit a separate Community Development Services (CDS) grant application by the March 30, 2026 deadline and approved a requested letter of support for that application.
Resolution #26-116 approves a contract between the Auglaize County Department of Job and Family Services and St. Vincent Family Center for professional services; the resolution text is recorded in the Board’s journal. Resolutions #26-117 and #26-118 relate to the county’s participation in the County Commissioners Association Service Corporation of Ohio Workers’ Compensation Group Retrospective Rating Plan: #26-117 authorizes the President to execute the Group Retrospective Rating Plan agreement and #26-118 authorizes the President to execute the county’s re‑enrollment application for the program.
