Street department to file easement at 429 Canyon, approves $8,250 lighting installation

He said the property owner signed and notarized an easement to move the catch basin closer to the driveway so surface water will be caught and not run over the curb. "They signed the easement. It's been notarized," Wilson said, and asked the board to authorize filing and approval so the work can proceed. The board approved the filing and easement by motion.
Wilson also presented a quote from Logan Electrical Solutions to install approximately 30 high-bay LED fixtures in the street shop, saying the lights would brighten a workspace where mechanics often must use headlights. The quoted price is $8,250. The board moved to approve the quote and carried the motion by voice vote.
Staff indicated the lighting work includes labor and materials as quoted; Director Wilson said the improved lighting should change the work environment and assist mechanics on tasks. The board recorded approvals by motion and instructed staff to proceed with coordination and implementation.
