Items approved include creation of a Boyle County High School Dance Team booster club; Owner/Construction Manager-as-Constructor contracts for Junction City Elementary and Perryville Elementary renovation projects; a five-year equipment payment contract with BSN Sports totaling $83,250 (with a first-year payment of $20,812.50 due Sept. 1, 2026 and scheduled payments thereafter); a performance agreement for an ABBA tribute (Center Stage Artist) for $12,500 plus six double hotel rooms; venue rental for prom ($1,600); an agreement with Blue Grass Tours for three charter buses for the senior trip ($8,385), which the minutes say was necessary because district drivers were not available; and acceptance of donations including $4,030 from Perryville Elementary PTO and $1,490.43 from Dennis and Callie Short for BCHS chaperones.
The board also accepted grants including a KECSAC $3,000 allocation for day treatment instructional materials and a Kentucky Arts Partnership (KAP) grant of $10,310 for programming at the Boyle County Performing Arts Center.
Finally, the board ratified payroll and claims: payroll checks and direct deposits amounting to $1,873,409.83 and General Fund claims by checks totaling $616,246.63.
