Compensation adjustments under consideration were discussed: for sworn personnel a pay-study recommendation of an 8.2 percent scale adjustment plus a 3 percent merit step would total roughly 11.2 percent on anniversary merit cycles; civilian adjustments will be determined by pay band placement per the county study. Speaker 2 told the board these figures come from the pay study and the county’s compensation discussions.
