Student Code of Conduct: The Student Support Services committee reviewed proposed 2026–27 revisions to the code, which include reworded definitions, clearer temporary‑suspension limits (temporary suspension limited to three days pending investigation), and an implementation plan with internal training and external family workshops. Committee members asked staff to add concise parent materials (brief videos, cheat sheets and quarterly family workshops) and to ensure appeal rights are clearly communicated in suspension notices.
Board members voted to approve the contracts and to move the code revisions forward with the district’s professional learning and communication plan to accompany adoption.
