Henderson council approves multiple ordinances, appoints library trustee and refers a package of code changes to July 15

The council voted to adopt the resolution.
Assistant Finance Director David Weiser presented a resolution to record FY25 budget augmentations. He said the resolution records augmentations for both revenues and expenditures made during the fiscal year from unanticipated resources in accordance with Nevada Revised Statutes. The council adopted the budget-augmentation resolution and staff will submit the augmented FY25 budget to the Nevada Department of Taxation for certification.
Council also referred a set of code-amendment bills (items 53–62, described in the agenda as amendments to municipal code chapters on building, residential, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, wildland-urban interface, fire, swimming pool and energy conservation codes) to the regular council meeting on July 15, 2025 with a recommendation of due pass.
Most motions were moved and carried with unanimous votes.
