The City of Schuyler on June 17 approved a $227,170 bid from General Excavating, LLC to build the South Park Pedestrian Bridge. Council member Baumert moved to accept the bid; Council member Kasik seconded the motion and voting was unanimous.
City Administrator Johnson reported the project’s bid came in more than $100,000 under the allocated budget for the Parks Capital Improvement fund. The minutes record the award and funding source but do not provide a revised project timeline.
