The Ringgold County Board of Supervisors met by conference call with Victor Reicks and Andrea Groh of Stronghouse (formerly Options Exteriors) to discuss delays in the courthouse roof project and concerns about standing water. The Board asked the contractor to provide a status update by the end of the week.
Andrea Groh told the Board the contractor was following guidance from the manufacturer. Victor Reicks said he was working with the manufacturer to secure a structural engineer to review the project and advise on next steps. Sheriff Rob Halley reported a separate roof leak at his facility; Reicks said a contractor team was en route to address that issue.
The Board requested that Stronghouse provide an update by the end of the week on the manufacturer's warranty review and any corrective actions. No formal resolution was recorded regarding the roof during the meeting; the Board requested further status reporting.
