Board approves 2026 emergent bilingual summer school for rising K–1 students

She said registration remains open until the first day of school or the start of summer school, and that transportation will be provided from hub areas so families can access sessions across the geographically dispersed district.
Trustee Tim Hennessy moved to approve the item as presented and the board approved the summer‑school schedule by voice vote, 5–0. No enrollment caps were specified in the discussion; staff said they send information to parents and that registration will remain open until the program begins.
