The Board of Garrett County Commissioners unanimously approved the appointment of Christie Reckart to the Garrett County Ethics Commission at its April 21 meeting. Commissioner S. Larry Tichnell moved the appointment, Commissioner Ryan S. Savage seconded, and Chairman Paul C. Edwards made the motion unanimous.
The appointment covers a five-year term scheduled to end in December 2031. An official letter of appointment signed by Chairman Paul C. Edwards will be sent to Reckart to outline the terms of the appointment.
The action took place during the administrative session, which also included County Administrator Kevin G. Null’s presentation of several managerial items. No opposing votes or abstentions were recorded. The board adjourned its public meeting at 4:35 p.m.
